Everybody knew that Neil A. McPhedran would be a successful entrepreneur. From the time that he was in elementary school, he was always thinking of a plan. At six, he hired himself out to the neighborhood to do yard work under the title ‘Rent a kid’. At seven, he had organized a lucrative business of re-selling unwanted treats from his fellow schoolmate’s lunches. It wasn’t long before clothing captured his attention. The frustration came when he discovered the difficulty of clothing his 6’2 frame in shirts that were not only cool - but actually fit.

A post-university trip to Asia opened the world to him in terms of style and a concept was born. Enter GreenShag.

Since graduating from university in 1994, Neil has been working in the world of advertising and Internet Communication, where he’s focused on helping clients leverage the Web and integrate Internet-based initiatives into successful creative campaigns. As Managing Director of Tribal DDB Toronto, Neil helped guide the team to becoming Canadian Interactive Agency of the Year.

In the Fall of 2006, Neil made the jump into full entrepreneurship. He now heads the helm at GreenShag., as well as consulting on other internet based projects.
