Posted September 3rd, 2007 by craig
Mobile Jam Fest, the world's largest youth creativity festival, in partnership with REMG and Embrace, conducted a mobile film competition during the day long Rogers Picnic festival. Get your mobile phones ready, it's now time to vote!
On July 29, 2007, at the historic Fort York, The Roots, Bedouin Soundclash, Bad Brains, Tegan & Sara, The Dears, The New Pornographers, Little Brother, and Apostle of Hustle became the back drop for films created by audience members, and their mobile "video" phones, with over 60 filmmakers signing up to create amazing pieces of creativity throughout the day. After all the dust had settled, MJF staff have chosen the top 20 films for you to vote on.
Please visit the Rogers Picnic website to view and vote (mobile voting) on all of the films. The filmmaker with the most votes wins an Xbox 360 Console. Voters will also have a chance to win two pairs of tickets to the MJF launch party.
Winners will be announced September 4th, 2007 at Mobile Jam Fest.
MJF is just two weeks away from launching. Make sure to register and stay informed.
